The Thompson 840 is the latest addition to the Thompson range of high performance mixer grinders. This compact model is purpose designed to accomodate the gourmet shops and supermarkets with limited production floor space but still want the same high quality mixer grinder that is capable of producing reliable high production outputs and good particle definition of cut. The 840 mixer grinder is available as a conventional freestanding model or where space is very limited as a bench top model. The 840 mixer grinder is a leader in its field and maintains the capacity to mince extremely efficiently with output rates you would only expect of larger machines. It is ideal for gourmet shops and supermarkets that produce quantities of gourmet flavoured sausages in small batches or where tray packs of fresh mince are continually required. It greatly reduces waste from excess product remaining in bowl or mincing chamber. The 840 mixer grinder is a very good option over conventional pedestal style mincers that are hand fed. It offers continuous mincing operation and automatic mixing which greatly reduces labour and improves product quality and yield. This machine stands small in statue, offers big benefits in performance and cost reduction at an affordable price.

The Thompson 900 Mixer Mincer is designed to mince fresh meat expediently achieving outputs only expected from much larger machines. In some extreme instances this machine has been known to perform well above its design expectations producing up to 15 tonnes of production per week. The Thompson 900 Mixer Mincer has the capacity to mince very efficiently giving a high definition of cut. The Thompson 3000 Series heavy duty mixer-grinders bridge the gap between the Thompson 900 Series mixer-grinder, suitable for butcher shop and supermarket use and the Thompson 4000 Series mixer-grinder for industrial use where high production outputs are required. The output rates can exceed 3000 kg/hour, with a second cut output rate of 30kg/minute through a 3mm plate (depending on product). Construction and Operation The Thompson 3000 Series are solidly constructed of heavy gauge stainless steel with fully seam welded corners throughout, offering smooth hygienic surfaces. The removable stainless steel mixing arm offers an efficient mix and dispensation of the product. The mixing paddle is programmed with an automatic forward-reverse duty cycle. The feedscrew gully empties fully without squashing or pulping the product. A feature of this machine is the load height, only 1150mm. Stainless steel barrel and lockring available upon request. Pneumatic foot control available to assist in filling trays for display. Transmission Thompson 3000 mixer-grinders are powered by two independent helical gear reduction units. Thompson 4000 Mixer Grinder – Used extensively in high production facilities throughout the World, the 4000 Series is renowned for its outstanding performance and reliability. It sits between the popular 3000 & 5000 series. The construction of the 4000 series is robust and built to last. Manufactured from high quality stainless steel a strong structured framework supports a thick gauge mixing bowl and panels that are fully seam Welded both inside and outside the bowl. The standard height machines incorporate a heavy gauge domed lid with an open grilled section for ingredients adding or viewing of the mix cycle. An ingredients or liquids pouring channel is also offered as an option. The strong built mixing paddle manufactured from full stainless steel is standard with a choice of either Tinned or Stainless Steel grinding heads and feedscrews. The 4000 Series has been designed and developed to the high standards of safety and finish demanded by CE / USDA and GS regulations. All models specifically incorporate the “smart design” mixing bowl and paddle and are finished with smooth hygienic surfaces to panels and welds to achieve a clean bowl on product discharge and ease the cleaning down process at the end of production. The TRANSMISSION drives are independent direct drive design. No more oily greasy chains, no more continual maintenance of pulleys and belt drives. Smooth, compact and quiet the robust drives are very efficient in transmitting maximum power from large Kw motors – featuring a standard 2 speeds on the feedscrew drive with High Torque on low speed. Specifically designed paddle blade angles and configurations (“smart design”) maximise the product displacement and movement within corresponding mixing bowls that have been specifically contoured to accentuate the mixing action. Within the reciprocating mixing paddle cycle, product is free tumbled from top to bottom to top and from corner to corner within the bowl to deliver a very homogeneous mix within a short time period. Forward and reverse paddle action to avoid overmixing. For fresh meat and down to minus 4 degrees * Safety features on the 4200 are plentiful since the machine was also developed with safety as a premium concern, conforming to the high demands of local and overseas regulations. * The safety interlocked lid is a standard feature on all machines incorporated with a maximum stop time on the machine cycle, limiting any possibility of human interference with rotating parts. * A safety interlocked discharge guard is also a standard feature. * A feedscrew ejector can be built into the machine to reduce the risk in removing knives, plates and feedscrews.
